About Biennale

biennale:The World Ceramic Biennale Korea (CEBIKO)(Biennale) was first held in 2001 and is the most prestigious international event in the field of ceramics.  It has established itself as a forum for creative minds where ceramic artists and enthusiasts get together to engage in exchange of ceramic culture and take the lead in the global trends of ceramics.The World Ceramic Biennale projects the dignity of Korean ceramics throughout the world and has been playing the leading role in extending the realm of ceramic culture and in expanding the market for ceramics. It is driving the development of Icheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju in Gyeonggi-do Province, Korea as the global center of ceramics.
